This Privacy Policy explains how Echelon Digital Brand Strategy Pty Ltd (ABN 15 603 542 114), trading as Ranked in AI (we, us, our), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our websites, project dashboard or services, you consent to this Policy.
1. Who we are & scope

- Coverage: This Policy applies to our websites (including rankedinai.com and get.rankedinai.com), the project dashboard, and services we provide to clients.
2. Personal information we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information (as that term is used in the Privacy Act):
- Identity & contact: name, business name, role/title, email, phone, address, and the location you nominate for your service.
- Business profile & content: professional qualifications, service descriptions, images, logos, biographies, testimonials and other materials you supply for us to create assets and deliver the service.
- Account & transaction: plan selection, subscription status, invoices, payment confirmations, renewal dates and communication preferences.
- Usage & technical: device information, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, dates/times, referrers, and interactions within our project dashboard.
- Communications: messages you send us (email/support), feedback, and approvals.
- Sensitive information: we do not seek to collect sensitive information. If you choose to provide it, we will only handle it as necessary to deliver the services and as permitted by law.
3. How we collect personal information
- Directly from you: when you purchase a plan, complete onboarding forms, upload assets, communicate with us, or use the project dashboard.
- Automatically: via cookies and similar technologies when you visit our sites or dashboard (see section 6).
- From your authorised representatives: where your team or agents provide information or approvals on your behalf.
4. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- provide and improve our services, including planning, deploying and monitoring your campaign and producing monthly reports;
- operate the project dashboard and manage your account and subscriptions;
- create, host, publish and manage assets required for service delivery;
- send administrative notices (e.g., renewal reminders, policy updates, service communications);
- respond to questions, support requests and complaints;
- maintain security, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms & Conditions (https://rankedinai.com/terms);
- comply with laws and regulatory requirements.
5. Payments & card data
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored by us. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as payment confirmations and the last 4 digits of your card) to manage your subscription and renewals.
6. Cookies, analytics & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our websites and project dashboard, keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance and improve the user experience.
- Strictly necessary: required for core functionality (authentication, security, session management).
- Performance & analytics: help us understand usage and improve services.
- Preferences: store your settings (e.g., language, layout).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, parts of the dashboard or website may not function properly.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that help us deliver the services (for example, hosting, project tools, analytics and payment processing via Stripe).
- Our related entities within the Echelon Digital Brand Strategy group, for operational purposes consistent with this Policy.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance) under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Storage, security & retention
- Location: We store personal information in Australia. Payment information is processed by Stripe.
- Security: We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
- Retention: We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy and to comply with legal, tax and audit obligations. When your engagement ends, we cease using your information, subject to those obligations.
9. Access, correction & your choices
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out‑of‑date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
- Send your request to hello@rankedinai.com. We may need to verify your identity before actioning your request.
- We aim to respond within a reasonable period (usually within 30 days). If we refuse a request, we will provide reasons subject to legal restrictions.
- You may opt out of non‑essential communications at any time (see section 10).
10. Marketing communications
We may send you service updates and, where permitted, information about features or content that may interest you. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or emailing hello@rankedinai.com. Service and transactional messages (for example, billing or security notices) are not promotional and you may continue to receive them while you are a customer.
11. Children
Our services are intended for business customers and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16 years of age.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice (Sydney time) before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
